Commercial Finance Analyst

Our client, an international FTSE 100 brand that operates one of the most rewarding and progressive talent planning structures around, is looking to source a highly ambitious, top calibre Commercial Finance Analyst to join its talented team.

The role will be responsible for providing effective analytical, reporting and planning support to the Commercial Finance Function, as well as working in close collaboration with senior members of the Commercial Department.

Main duties include:
* Assisting and Reporting & Analysis Manager in delivering timely reporting and insightful analysis covering all aspects of Commercial Finance & FP&A:
- Weekly forecasting
- Annual Financial Plans
- Strategic 3 - 5 year Plans
* Owning all central costs to ensure accuracy and transparency for Cost Centre Managers
* Partnering with Marketing, ensuring understanding of cost base and presenting monthly results to Marketing Head
* Controlling variable costs in cross functional teams, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified
* Presenting monthly business and financial results with analysis and commentary to Head of Commercial Finance
* Business planning and budgeting support across marketing, commercial and central overheads

The successful candidate will either be an ACA from top 10 practice, or a finalist/newly qualified ACCA/CIMA with excellent academics from a fast-paced, blue-chip business. You will consider yourself to be highly ambitious, with a positive attitude towards work and clear motivation and enthusiasm to add value.

You must have examples to date where you have demonstrated strong analytical skills, with an evident grasp of the commercials in a fast-paced, consumer led business. Due to the cross-functional nature of the role and interaction with senior stakeholders, you must display a level of credibility, confidence and gravitas that will allow for strong relationship building.
