Payroll Manager

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join a highly reputable professional services organisation based in Sheffield. 

Role:

This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a progressive company. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing monthly and weekly payroll covering circa 3,000 members of staff
• Manage a team of 4 members of staff, including a Senior Payroll Officer and 3 Payroll Administrators
• Manage the multisite payroll process
• Review, improve and roll out departmental payroll processes
• Manage and maintain company pension
• Reconcile and pay tax deductions to HMRC
• Prepare periodic management information reports
• Assist in the implementation of new payroll system
• Provide payroll analysis and reports

Person:

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience managing or supervising a busy payroll department
• CIPP Qualified (or by experience)
• Personable and a mentor
• The ability to implement and roll out new processes
