Axon Moore is exclusively recruiting a Commercial Analyst on behalf of a market leading, private equity-backed, multi-site retail business based in Greater Manchester.
The company is a profitable, fast growing and approaching an exciting time of change. The business are about to embark on a major business transformation project and the successful applicant will play a significant role in this.
Applicants must be recently qualified accountants with a strong academic background, ideally looking for their first move after qualifying into a genuinely commercial role. Strong excel skills and a commercial focus are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
• Analysis of results, identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
• Assist in the implementation of a new rolling financial forecast and budgeting processes.
• Financial planning and modelling.
• Support the preparation of 5 year strategic plans.
• Work with the Sales and Operation functions in a partner like role, evaluating business plans.
• Ad hoc analytical project work on behalf of the FD
The right candidate must be driven, have the ability to build valuable relationships across departments and be experienced in relaying financial detail to non finance experienced individuals.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and ambitious, qualified candidate (trained in industry or practice) to gain commercial exposure whilst enhancing their modelling, analytical and data handling skills.
