Senior Management Accountant

Howarth Morris are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant for a 100M+ t/o European Retail business based on the outskirts of Chester. This rapidly expanding company has enjoyed year on year growth of approximately 16% and is set to double its current turnover in the next 5 years.

Due to this growth this Newly created Senior Management Accountant position will play a pivotal role in assisting the company expand into Europe and possibly Worldwide. You will report directly to/ and learn from a fully qualified and vastly experienced Financial Controller; who's main aim will be to bring you rapidly up the learning curve so as to take on his responsibilities and title. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced accountant to be fast tracked into a Financial Controller position of a 200M t/o Global/ forward thinking organisation.

Working in a dynamic finance team of 8, your responsibilities will include:-
 

• Preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts pack for the group and subsidiaries
• Preparation and Distribution of the Month-end Pack
• Assisting with Budgeting and Forecasting
• Year-end Audits
• Attending Senior Operational Meetings
• Preparation of Board Reports and Analysis
• Quarterly VAT Returns
• Monthly Intrastat & EC Sales
• Bi-Monthly Closure of the ledgers at Month-end
• Ad hoc Financial Controller duties as required by the business or your progression
