My client, a Travel & Leisure industry leader based in London, are currently seeking an FP&A Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join them as an integral part of the Global Marketing FP&A support team. This individual will specifically provide FP&A support for the Marketing team out of our London office. This will be an initial 3 month contract, but could extend for the right candidate. You should ideally be immediately available or on a maximum of 2 weeks notice.

The SFA will provide decision support, forward looking business and operational planning, ongoing business information analysis, business metrics analysis, financial forecasting, and business performance measurement. Additionally, the SFA will coordinate with the Retail Finance team to ensure alignment between the retail and marketing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the planning, monthly close and forecast reporting to support the Online Marketing Leadership Team
* Prepare monthly management reports, variance analyses, trend analyses, and financial review documents
* Facilitate with business partners in development of forward looking online marketing trends
* Responsible for financial and accounting treatment of vendor spend and invoice approvals
* Leverage business intelligence tools including Hyperion, Business Objects, etc. to drive insight into business, as well as overall impact of online marketing spend to the P&L
* Use Excel to create weekly marketing scorecard and dashboard for e-commerce and marketing leadership teams.
* Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by business partners.

Qualifications:

* Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA) with strong academic record
* 5+ years work experience in a similar analytical role, Online Marketing/Ecommerce experience preferred
* Proven success in a finance role in a fast paced, changing environment; demonstrate desire to improve operations and processes within FP&A.
* Strong track record of being able to work independently
* Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

* Strong qualitative and quantitative financial skills
* Strong modeling and presentation skills
* Demonstrated understanding of financials and budgeting processes

* Hyperion / Essbase experience required / Business Objects experience a plus
