Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity exists to join an employer of choice based in Luton.

Forming part of a small team, you will provide key finance support focussing on cost-saving and revenue generating initiatives and act as a key link between the commercial and finance teams. You will attend regular project steering meetings and contract discussions to ensure appropriate financial support is in place. You will also lead the finance support for contract tender processes, review contracts and commercial deals, help build, challenge and agree budgets and there will also be an element of month end reporting and you will be required to present to Directors on a regular basis.

We require a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong business partnering skills who can quickly build relationships at a senior level. Whilst there are no direct reports there will be a need to support junior staff members and could be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain some experience in team management.

Due to the nature of the project it supports the role is offered on a two year fixed term contract but there is an expectation that a permanent role would be available at the end of the project within another area if the business.
