This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a household name market leader which is part of an impressive Multinational with global operations in over 25 countries and over 25,000 employees worldwide. In this high profile Commercial role, reporting directly to the Global Reporting Controller, your remit will be to business partner/support Global and Regional Management teams through providing consolidated monthly/quarterly financial and operational performance reports as well as ensuring that Group wide forecast and budgets requirements are met. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collection and consolidation of monthly results and budget and forecasts
  • Variance analysis and narrative
  • Preparing, circulating and presenting the Finance Report pack to global and regional senior management and operations teams
  • Business Partnering with Site Controllers - discussing and understanding key business drivers and elements of results
  • Gathering explanations and data to support Quarterly and year end reporting
  • Actively supporting the Budget and Forecast process to ensure they are completed to time - providing explanations on any key issues
  • Providing additional ad hoc reports and data required by the business support teams
  • Driving improvements in the monthly reporting activities
  • Supporting the European Financial Controller and Regional Controllers as required
  • Supporting with Business Improvement Projects

Applicants will be fully Qualified with a strong academic record, a good eye for detail and strong communication skills, particularly with non-finance senior management and Operations teams. The role requires good analytical skills and the ability to interpret and explain financial results. Experience with NICS and good MS excel skills would be advantageous.
