PE backed Retail Chief Financial Officer

Highly adept Chief Financial Officer required to lead a PE backed retail business through its sale. This is an opportunity to play an integral part in an exit, requiring the technical proficiency and experience to integrate all business functions, and the strategic vision to lay out a framework for long term growth post-transaction. Ideally, you will have experience of managing commercial operations of a retail business including warehousing, logistics, IT and HR.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate expertise in preparing for the sale. This includes implementing financial systems, processes and controls, along with KPIs, dashboards and board packs. You must be commercially able, and comfortable operating in a highly leveraged PE environment. The role ranges from high level strategy and the gritty detail, and you will be expected to address the entire remit with a high level of professionalism and rigour.

A successful CFO must be a qualified accountant with prior experience managing day to day finance functions within a growing retail business. It is vital for our client that the CFO has a proven track record leading transactions up to a sale and subsequent integrations. As a leader within the company, you will also need excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
