Robert Half have is currently recruiting for a leading business in Burton upon Trent to source for a new Financial Reporting Manager. The position is a technical role and will require someone to prepare group financial information on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
The business is well-known employer in Burton Upon Trent that has grown extensively over recent years. You will join a large finance team that is a collaborative environment that promotes regularly from within. Having recently expanded their global reach through acquisition and organic growth there are multiple opportunities for development in either a standalone technical role, team management or moving towards a more commercial position.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly group financial statements
- Submission of annual statutory accounts
- Reporting following IFRS
- Technical financial support across ongoing projects in the business
- Key liaison for audits
- Ensure compliance across all business units
You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, or ACCA) with experience in a financial reporting role for an international business. In exceptional circumstances a first time mover from practice will be considered but it is likely this will be your second move.
Your technical knowledge will be backed up with excellent communication skills and ambition that will see you thrive in a tough but lucrative role.
The role will pay a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 + Industry Leading Benefits including 20% Bonus
