Group Management Accountant

Axon Moore is working with a growing business based in South Manchester seeking an ambitious Group Management Accountant looking to undertake the next step in their professional development. Working a part of a multi-company group, the role will be varied and will offer the opportunity for genuine business partnering across the business.

With an ambitious growth forecast in place, the Group FD is now building a high-calibre team ready to undertake the next phase of growth within the group.

Based in South Manchester, the role will suit an ambitious CIMA or ACCA trained Management Accountant who will report directly in the Group Financial Controller, and will undertake the following roles and responsibilities;

• Revenue calculation for trading group members
• Production of monthly management accounts for group businesses
• Cashflow control and reporting
• Production of monthly KPI reports for trading group
• Ensuing relevant and appropriate preparation and liaising with the auditors
• Production of annual statutory accounts for all trading businesses
• Project work as required
• Other ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will have the following background, although other suitable experiences will be considered;

• CIMA / ACCA qualified (or passed finalist)
• Demonstrable experience within management accounts
• A background within property and/or leisure will be highly desirable
• The ability to communicate effectively with people at all level across the group
• Strong Excel skills, wider system implementation experience would be desirable
