Site Accountant

Acquisitive FMCG with a family run culture, which promotes personal and professional development and invests in its' employees is keen to appoint an Accountant to form part of their fast paced senior finance team. Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, in a standalone role, you will be hands on in preparing, analysing, reporting and investigating variances on materials, labour and overheads for a number of their sites. The role will assist in month end closing, inventory analysis and of costs for profitability and stock valuation.  In addition to the above, you will take the lead in preparing regular forecasts and the annual budget for the sites, alongside working with the site general management to develop reporting and control procedures. This role would suit a passed finalist/Qualified Accountant, preferably with FMCG, multi site manufacturing experience. As a person, you will have the confidence and interpersonal skills to communicate across all levels of the business, possess advanced Excel skills and ideally have had exposure to BI systems and a general understanding of ERP systems.
