Financial Accountant

Your new company
A growing medium sized business located in Christchurch are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance function. A market leading company who operate within a niche engineering sector and work with a selection of high end clients.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the management of the month end process for the largest business unit in the group and be reporting into the group Financial Controller. You will be generating month-end TB and complete P&L and Balance Sheet results incorporating all ledgers, accruals, prepayments and inventory analysis to achieve monthly results. You will be tasked with improving processes of accounts production and work closely with transactional teams to drive efficiencies.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified technically strong financial accountant with experience in a similar role. You will need to be a strong communicator with the ability to drive process and procedure improvements - engineering, aviation or manufacturing experience beneficial.
