Senior Accounting Manager needed for global business in Berkshire!
£50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
Investigo is currently recruiting a Senior Accounting Manager to join a global business in Berkshire to lead a team of three accountants in managing a wide range of Accounting, Reporting and Business partnering functions in accordance with USGAAP, FRS 101 and company policies and SOX requirements for the EMEAI region. At the core of the role is period end reporting and statutory compliance but with supervisory responsibility for a team that is also responsible for some key business interfaces. Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full accounting and reporting functions of assigned EMEAI entities, which includes crucial business processes for the main trading entity in EMEAI, together with monthly/quarterly and annual reporting responsibilities for EMEAI wide statutory entities
- Drive performance in the team to meet all deadlines, serve customers and work efficiently
- Manage the delivery of statutory accounts for all relevant UK companies
- Drive an effective control environment, one that achieves SOX compliance through efficient processes
- Manage the day to day relationship with internal and external auditors
- Managing business processes for Capex, Rebates, Commissions, R&D projects and Payroll
Key requirements:
- University degree
- Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA Qualified accountant looking to make first move out of practice or alternatively with post qualification experience in industry
- Financial reporting and statutory accounting experience
- Strong technical accounting skills (US and UKGAAP)
- People management experience or relevant project management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation including the executive level
- Strong ERP experience would be desirable (preferably SAP)
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills and work as an effective team supervisor who actively manages and drives performance
- Proactive approach and strong customer focus
