An exciting opportunity has become available to join a leading brand within the music entertainment industry as a Finance Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking to work within a fast-paced environment as part of the role involves music royalties.
The successful candidate would be reporting to the Commercial Finance Director in a dynamic role involving analysis, reporting and accounting.
This role involves:
- Coding invoices and payments to post to general ledger
- Preparing advance payments and general ledger schedules
- Monthly overheads
- Financial transaction analysis (Royalties)
- Credit Control on synchronization licenses
- Assisting company financial reports and management reports; reconciliations/stat account preparation
- VAT/Corporation Tax returns
- Ad-hoc duties where required
The candidate:
- Immediately available or able to start ASAP
- Previous experience in a finance role, preferably in the media industry
- Studying towards CIMA/ACCA
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in royalties would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Hyperion and SAP would be an advantage
