The Company
Robert Half Finance & Accountancy are exclusively recruiting a new position of Financial Controller to work for a transforming, rapidly growing and highly profitable business based in Doncaster.
It is an exciting time to join a business that until recently were a privately run owner managed organisation, to now being part of a multi-national Group function. They're therefore needing a highly motivated Financial Controller to drive the business forward.
The Role
Reporting to the UK Finance Director this is a hands on position that will have two diverse remits. Firstly, you will have responsibility for the production of accounts for the £11 million turnover site that you will be working from and this includes annual budgeting, Group reporting, the production of the monthly management pack and the management of a team of 3.
The second element of your role will require the successful candidate to support the Operational Managers on site with issues relating to margins, inventory and revenues. This Business Partnering and Commercial element to the position will evolve as the business continues to grow and will allow the candidate to directly influence the future strategy of the business. Additionally you will take a lead role in supporting the business through an ERP system implementation.
To be considered candidates will be expected to:
- Be Fully Qualified
- Ideally have been involved in a system implementation (Navision experience advantageous)
- Have a strong track record of producing meaningful monthly information for Non Finance Managers and have strong communication skills.
