SF Group are exclusively recruiting for a Risk Analyst Manager for our Birmingham based client on a nine month contract basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven candidate to join a niche team where you will be responsible for managing the organisation's risk analysis workstream. This position is pivotal in building and sustaining risk management within the business which aims to be both risk based and evidence led. The role is complex where you will be need to be change orientated, have the ability to use your own initiative and be able to design and deliver a strategy for analysis risk. The ideal candidate will lead on the ongoing assessment of strategic and operational industry risk and be able to inform stakeholders of their commitments against risk on behalf of the organisation.

You will be a self starter who can work with a great deal of autonomy and have a desire and passion for improvement. Furthermore, you will be guided by a senior stakeholder and reporting against set business plan objectives. You will drive forward risk analysis and be confident in providing specialist advice to colleagues to senior level. You will manage a team of three staff and be able to continually improve and drive the organisation's external risk management strategy. Furthermore, you will lead on the external risk register and the production of outlook documents for release to the public.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of risk identification and analysis and be able to deliver risk management systems. You will have the ability to manage a small team and design and facilitate workshops and be able to build excellent relationships across the board. Advanced IT skills is a must, experience using office 365 suite, customer relationship management (siebel) data analytics (e.g. tableau or PowerBI) and risk or project management software would be ideal.

My client is looking for a candidate who has proven experience working in a regulatory environment and be educated to degree level with risk disciplines or modules. Risk management qualification is preferred but not essential. Finally, project management qualification (Prince 2 practitioner) would be desirable.
