Tax Manager

Our client is based in South Manchester and continued growth has created the need to recruit a Tax Manager to report directly to the Finance Director. The Tax Manager will look after all aspects of Tax including indirect tax and VAT across the business. The remit of this role will include: advising the business and the wider group on all aspects of VAT legislation; review contracts and commercials for VAT efficiencies; support R&D activities to claim criteria is met; support transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance; provide Tax support for oversees and Non EU countries; production of the monthly sales tax reporting and the associated submissions; provide training and workshops to increase the understanding of Tax across the business.

 This role would suit an individual who is a Tax professional who will manage the long term Tax strategy of this business. You should possess good communication skills, be proactive and be able to act on your own initiative, consulting others as appropriate. You will be a qualified accountant with current and up to date experience in all tax related areas.
