Our company client is a leading brand who are actively looking to recruit a driven and highly skilled Actuarial Consultant to join their fast growing team based in the City.This function is suitable for those approaching qualification (FIA 2017) with a minimum of 3 years' experience who would like to advance their actuarial career with a genuine leader in the actuarial market.
Job overview:
* This newly created role sits within the Pensions Actuarial division of a genuine market leader.
* The successful applicant will work with a wide range of both Trustee and corporate clients of varying scheme types and sizes, taking on responsibility for preparing cash flows for use in asset-liability models, individual calculations, and actuarial valuations for buy-in analysis and solvency testing.
* You will also start to build up the managerial aspect of your actuarial career and become responsible for the provision of training to more junior actuarial staff. There is also scope to become involved in business development as my client goes from strength to strength in the market.
Essential qualifications and skills required:
* This role would suit those approaching qualification (FIA 2017) with a minimum of 3 years' experience with outstanding academics, impressive progress through the actuarial examinations, excellent communication skills and the commitment to developing his/her actuarial career.
