The Head of Finance is responsible for the overall financial management and financial reporting for the London Branch.
- Maintain the Branch’s general ledger
- Preparation of all financial reports
- Preparation of monthly and ad-hoc management reporting
- Preparation of required liquidity reporting
- Calculation of EAD, RWA and EL
- Preparation and submission of all regulatory and statistical reports to the Bank of England
- Preparation and submission of all returns required by HMRC (including corporation tax returns, VAT returns, AEOI returns etc)
- Accounts payable management
- Management of fixed assets
- Responsible for ensuring changes to HMRC policy affecting the Branch is communicated to and implemented in all areas of the Branch
- Must have experience of managing the finance function within the branch of a foreign bank.
- Must have significant experience in the preparation of management and annual accounts, business analysis and management information.
- Must have a minimum of 8 years + experience operating at Senior Financial Management level.
- Experience in checking all relevant Bank of England regulatory and statistical returns
- Experience of liaising with external auditors and management of annual audit procedures.
- A good knowledge of ALM is desirable
