Manager of Financial Reporting
Client
Our client is a global Talent Agency, headquartered in LA, USA but with multiple offices around the world. They are looking for a Departmental Finance Analyst for the Sports division in their London office.
Role
The Manager of Financial Reporting is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of monthly financial statements to management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements in accordance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Process daily accounting entries across sales ledger/purchase ledger and cash transactions, and complete month end process preparing journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Analyze fluctuations in monthly operating results.
- Maintain documentation of company-wide accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist in the design and execution of effective controls to ensure appropriate accounting treatment is applied to all company transactions.
- Ensure successful completion of annual financial statement audit by functioning as a key contact with external auditors.
- Assist in the preparation and review of annual audited financial statements and footnote disclosures.
- Review, assess and document accounting and financial reporting implications of complex transactions.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified accountant, with strong analytics, a detail focused approach and broad technical comprehension including an understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Minimum 2 years' post qualification experience
- Candidates must have experience in a Financial Reporting role.
- Experience with entertainment industry preferred.
