A Head for Pensions. A Heart for People.

Our client are a circa £23 billion organisation that protects millions of people who belong to thousands of eligible pension schemes throughout the UK.

Hundreds of thousands of people depend on them to pay them compensation for the pension they lost when their employers or former employers went bust and could no longer afford to pay what they had promised.
People don't choose to go to them, but they are there as their lifeboat when they need them - and they value every member.  For them, it's all about protecting people's futures - and that's their vision. So, why not join them and make a real difference to people's lives?

Are you an experienced and highly credible Project Manager with a track record of leading and delivering projects through cross functional project teams? Do you have exceptional stakeholder skills and can you demonstrate how you have engaged stakeholders at all levels within an organisation?  Are you successful working within a financial services organisation, in particular pensions or investments? Then our client would love to talk to you about the opportunity to join their team.

This is a great role for a skilled project manager that thrives in an environment where they can rapidly see the impact of their contribution. Our client are a relatively small organisation, circa 300 people, they require someone who can build lasting, productive relationships and be confident to challenge and question decisions and commitments as required. You will be working on high-profile, strategic projects within the organisation and be working alongside both employees and external consultants. It's essential that you can demonstrate how you have effectively assessed, managed and delivered the full project mandate including: risk, supplier and budget. Experience of working within the public sector would be ideal but not essential.  However, they do want to speak to Project Managers who have successfully used a robust methodology such as Prince II and key project management tools.

In return they can offer a career developing role that will offer you ample opportunity to work with stakeholders at all levels across the business as well as alongside specialist consultants. They are an organisation that is focused on learning and development and they will look forward to working with you to build your career profile.

Our client operates the 'two ticks' scheme. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria for this role will be guaranteed an interview under this scheme.

They are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
