Financial Controller

Financial Controller (Group Audit) - Peterborough up to £75,000

The One Group are working with a large, multi-divisional and growing organisation to recruit for a financial controller, initially focusing on group audit. The financial controller will join at a time of exciting growth and group restructure into what promises to be an evolving and ever changing position.

The business is looking for a candidate from a strong technical background, ideally developed within a large complex audit background (either in practice or industry). The strong background within risk/controls will be backed up with an excellent appreciation of accounting standards (multi-GAAP) and an up to date understanding of IFRS 101/102 would be advantageous.

Whilst the initial brief will focus in the short term in assisting the FD through the statutory audit process, the company is going a significant journey at present including establishing a new finance structure which will result in several project and analytical duties also being required of the financial controller.
