Newcross Healthcare are one of the UK’s leading providers of temporary staffing solutions to the healthcare and homecare sector with over 50 branches throughout the UK.  We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the Finance team based at our head office in Berry Pomeroy.

The Role
The main purpose of the role is to deliver accurate and timely Finance information to the Newcross business, working as part of the Finance team to proactively contribute towards the overall success of the organisation. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Ensuring the effective completion of Newcross monthly management reporting including completion of management accounts and supporting analysis, operational KPI reports, monthly and annual accounting and assisting with annual budget preparation.
• Ensuring the effective completion of statutory/financial reporting including year end accounts and supporting analysis, dealing with audit queries, assist with technical accounting guidance and ensuring best practice. 
• Input to strategic decision making including identifying and reporting on trends, root cause analysis and recommendations for business process improvement
• Day to day operational responsibilities including analysis of weekly margins and expenses

To be considered for this role you will need:

• To be ACCA/ CIMA finalist or newly qualified  
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience of analysing data

Experience of commercial management accounting would be advantageous but not essential  

What’s on offer
Basic salary of £30,000 to £32,000 and a bonus potential of £6,400 PA.  
28 days Annual Leave (inc bank holidays) rising to 33 after 12 months
