Senior Management Accountant

They currently deliver over 600,000 assessments each year worldwide in more than 60 countries around the world. They are based in fabulous offices about 10 minutes’ walk from Waterloo, Blackfriars and London Bridge stations.
Reporting to the Finance Director this is a critical role in the team. You will adopt a business partnering approach to support Directors and budget holders, providing them with meaningful reporting on a monthly basis. You must be capable of challenging managers and provide them with robust information which will assist them with their decision making processes. You will be instrumental in the budget setting process and will have the ability to build budget monitoring systems.
The organisation is consistently developing new projects, preparing and amending marketing plans and tendering for new business and this role will provide financial analysis in those areas. They will be embarking on a Sun system upgrade and you will have the opportunity to play a part in process improvements.
You will be a fully qualified accountant with well honed interpersonal skills. You will have experience of management reporting (including writing valuable commentary), budgeting, financial analysis and year end audit. Strong IT skills are required and you will ideally will have had some exposure to a systems upgrade. Excel skills are vital and you should have experience of pivot tables, vlookups and dealing with a large volume of data. You must have an agile approach and enjoy working in an environment which will require you to embrace changing priorities quickly.
