You’ll drive decisions at executive level

This is a business-critical role within our strategic finance team. Partnering with the Director of Engineering and Technology, you’ll provide expert financial support on all aspects of products and services across our organisation. Management information will be an important focus of the role, as you drive executive-level analysis and insight in order to support key business decisions. Other critical areas where your impact will be felt include pricing strategy, long-term investment decisions and business transformation.

Throughout all your work, you will be helping to deepen senior-level understanding of how our products and services are performing – and why. This in turn will help us develop better, smarter propositions and add value to customers all over the globe. 

You’ll see all the detail and the big picture too

As a qualified accountant with a proven track record in the commercial sector, including experience of business partnering at executive level, you will know what it takes to bring commercially viable solutions to the table and make things happen at speed.

Your ability to understand products and services in detail will enable you to challenge existing assumptions. At the same time, you will be happy to work at a strategic level, taking a ‘helicopter’ view of our business and where it is heading next. 

Specific areas of experience we are looking for include target pricing, make-versus-buy decisions, product profitability and activity-based costing. Strong analytical and modelling skills are also important, as is a collaborative leadership style.
