Finance Director

Our client is a market leader in improving enterprise performance through its next generation software products. The company has grown into one of the most respected and successful companies in its field and the CEO now seeks a commercially minded FD to play a significant role in the future growth and development of the business. The sights of the management team are fixed on continued growth in domestic and global markets with a view to an exit within 2-3 years.

The FD will need to share the vision and commitment of the management team while ensuring that the end-to-end business process is as dynamic and efficient as possible. The role will suit candidates who have an appetite for strong involvement in both the commercial and financial operations of the business, as well as excellent leadership, team and relationship skills.

As a full Board member, the role will include all financial and corporate development matters; treasury & taxation; liaison with customers, suppliers and partners as well as investors, bankers and advisors; and the management of the overall finance function.

The ideal candidate will have experience of a managed services business, software/technology and contracts. He/she will have good communication skills, be results orientated, self-motivated and energetic. He/she must be prepared to roll their sleeves up and get involved in the detailed financial issues of the business, as well as working with the CEO on strategy.
