Job Title: Senior Finance Business Partner

Salary: up to £55,000

The Business:

This Senior Finance Business Partner position is working for an instantly recognisable business with a strong history and heritage in Leicester; this is the perfect opportunity for a qualified candidate with significant post qualification experience to put their mark on a fast growing finance team

This is a newly created position, with huge opportunities for you to drive processes, make changes and impact profitability; you will be responsible for leadership of all planning and forecasting activity for the whole business, as well as providing performance commentary and providing finance support for the strategic decision making.

The Opportunity:

Act as a true Finance Business Partner - delivering report in a clear concise manner, helping non finance stakeholder to interpret performance metrics.
Variance analysis - highlighting areas for potential improvement and providing commentary on key drivers.
Take a lead on budgeting, planning and forecasting activity for the whole business, working closely with the operational teams.
Cost analysis and reporting - highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains.
Continuous improvement of processes and projects in line with wider business initiatives
Preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to senior level operational stakeholders.

Experience Sought:
CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
Analytical and innovative approach to solutions with excellent systems skills - Advanced Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to present information in detail and to senior stakeholders.
Demonstrable business partnering experience.
Strong Accounting Exam pass rate and Degree educated.
Detailed commercial finance background in a large business.
