They have a superb track record for consistently achieving growth within the company and are now looking for an Purchase Ledger Manager to lead a team of PL Clerks and help continue that growth throughout the company.

The role of a Purchase Ledger Manager within this company is crucial as they will be responsible for maintaining the company's customer ledger.
Description
A number of key duties involved as a Purchase Ledger Manager include:

Managing a team of sufficient purchase ledger clerks.

Running daily and weekly paid lists for clients and processing BACS and cheque payments on various computer systems.

Reconciling weekly paid lists.
-
Ensure your team implement and run new daily and weekly paid lists for new clients, processing BACS and cheque payments on various computer systems.

Assist with processing client refunds.

Monitoring and maintaining the purchase ledger.

To work with in-house departments & regional offices to resolve any queries in the accounts.
Profile
A number of the key attributes needed in the role include:
- Current/previous management experience.
- Vast experience in Purchase Ledger.
- Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail.
- Resilient with excellent telephone manner.
- Team player with excellent communicator at all levels
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure.
- Intermediate to Advanced excel skills.
