The business is experiencing extraordinary growth and the need has arisen to recruit a highly competent Finance lead to support the Group Financial Director and wider Executive management team.
About the Role
Working closely with the Executive Management team you will take responsibility for all aspects of financial reporting in addition to providing critical financial insight to the future growth and success of the business.
- Management, mentoring and development of a small dedicated finance function including sales/purchase ledger and credit control clerks.
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Completion of Group VAT returns.
- Provide financial support for strategic plans, Budgets and Forecasts.
- Support operations with the development of standard product costs and pricing methodology, leading to improved operational performance and increased profitability.
- Preparation of weekly cash flow forecast.
- Enhance existing controls, processes and procedures system reports and develop reports to improve reliability and accuracy.
- Maximise working capital.
- Stock count audit.
- Adhoc projects specifically around costing and product profitability analysis.
Candidate Profile
Qualified ACA CIMA or ACCA or QBE ideally with manufacturing experience, able to convey financial information to non-finance managers in a confident and persuasive manner. You will have proven analytical and reporting skills through advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel in addition to possessing excellent organisational and time management skills as well as attention to detail.
