The Company
As a FTSE 100 plc. market leader in their industry, our client has recently gone through an exciting time which has resulted in them needing a bright, ambitious, driven and commercially focused planning analyst with a finance focus.
The Role
A truly commercial role where you will be responsible for imparting your financial expertise to the customer services team key stakeholders to drive change and allow the business to make well informed commercial decisions. Key responsibilities will include:
* Provide real added value insight and interpretation of performance outcomes and potential risks and opportunities
* Reporting, analysis, decision support and insight to support performance of the customer services team
* Fully support the customer service business plan including development of the planning framework, ensuring focus on the delivery
* Responsible for planning, controlling and delivery of budgets and forecasts including reviewing challenging the forecast submissions
* Identify trends, opportunities and risks to annual performance, working to develop improvement plans and mitigate risks
* Ensure that the appropriate levels of controls exist to prevent inaccurate reporting of results
The Person
You will be a part/ qualified accountant/ or qbe with proven planning experience in a commercial finance setting. You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of taking the lead in diagnosing business issues and addressing through extensive business partnering. You will have first class stakeholder management expertise well as strong analytical and diagnostic skills with exceptional attention to detail. Above all you must demonstrate strong influencing skills both at senior and front line operations to enable you to credibly advise, guide and constructively challenge when required.
