We are currently looking to hire an operational risk professional who will be tasked with embedding an enterprise risk management system within the 1st line of defence.

Operational Risk Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing the work needed to embed a defined Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework in a 1st line operational area of a financial services business.
• Contribution to building a 1st line operational risk management function and defining an appropriate operating model for the function
• Building and implementing a framework of risk MI to provide assurance within the Division and appropriate risk reporting.
• Providing relevant feedback to first line risk supporters and / or SMEs
• Develop and produce accurate and timely MI to appropriate senior management committees to keep them apprised of progress, the status of policies across the Bank, and escalate any issues.

Operational Risk Key Skills & Experience required:

• Experience of working within a risk or control area within financial services.
• Awareness of risk and control environment execution within a financial services environment.
• Advanced excel is very beneficial
• Strong reporting and analytical skills, able to draft reports to senior leaders and Executive Committees.
• Excellent communication, organisational and influencing skills with the ability to engage with colleagues of all levels across the organisation.
