The Role

Robert Half Finance & Accountancy are pleased to be supporting our client, a large International high growth pharmaceutical company based in Hoddesdon, on the recruitment of an exciting newly created Global Controller role. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced, PE backed business that is rapidly growing, working in a role that co-ordinates and manages business performance across several countries working with multiple stakeholders and with be a small amount of international travel to Germany and the USA. The Global Controller will be responsible for :

-Ownership of delivery of divisional level financial MI (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)

-Leadership of the monthly global close and reporting processes and ownership of the reported monthly numbers

-Internal Control System Ownership for all international divisional business units; including development and implementation of new key control/financial operating manuals

-Leadership of cash flow management across all business units (Gross Margin and EBITDA generation, capex, working capital)

-Ownership of balance sheet management across the division - assets, liabilities and risk

-Consolidate, manage and deliver Annual Budgets, Re-forecasting and rolling Forecast compilation for the division, ensuring a best practice process is in place

-Development of new business insight tools for the division such as (SAP) Business Objects

Your Profile

We are looking for fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and experienced Controller with FP&A experience - budgeting, forecasting, analysis and management reporting. This is a global role co-ordinating all of the budgetting, forecasting and management reporting of all divisions, analysing business performance, telling the story of the numbers to the senior management team and the board. This a business facing role and would suit anyone with strong FP&A experience particularly in an international business.
