Financial Controller

Our client is a growing, international, private equity backed services business. They are seeking a Financial Controller to report to the CFO and manage a small team, and work closely with senior management and the investors.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Preparation of group consolidated management accounts
• Oversight of management systems/controls across finance
• Preparation and monitoring of working capital and KPI’s
• Weekly cash forecasting
• Preparation of group and subsidiary statutory accounts and regulatory reporting
• Preparation of annual budget and short term reforecasts
• Ad hoc MI analysis

Applicants should be fully qualified with a proven track record of managing financial controls, systems and processes in a fast-paced business. Applicants should have proven knowledge of IFRS and US/UK GAAP. The ideal candidate will have spent some time in a corporate ‘best practice business’ before making a conscious move into a growing SME in a highly visible, hands on role.

This is an extremely visible, business critical role and as such the successful candidate will be expected to play key role in building effective working relationships across the organisation. The new Financial Controller will be a strong business partner, will be commercially aware but technically strong.
