A high profile infrastructure fund that has recently raised over £300 million to invest across the renewable energy space
Key purpose
Assisting in the management of monthly SPV management reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities include
- Monitoring compliance with budgets and reviewing reports of actual figures against budget for monthly and quarterly reports.
- Assisting in the process of Fund’s annual and half year report including liaising with auditors.
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual budgets for the Fund and SPVs.
- Assisting in the review and completion of SPV statutory accounts and audit process.
- Assisting in the process for corporation tax compliance for Fund and SPV’s.
- Reviewing quarterly VAT returns for Fund and SPV’s.
- Assisting in the management of the Fund administrator.
- Liaising with the Operations team on ad-hoc projects.
- Ensure that the Fund’s database contains all key corporate documents for the Fund as well as board papers and company policies.
- Maintain a database of director and company secretarial information for the Fund and all SPVs.
- Maintain the fund and SPV electronic and original document filing system.
- Ensure that SPV policies and procedures are up to date and regularly reviewed by their boards and advisers.
- Maintain databases in relation to the SPV’s e.g. reporting dates, companies house, HMRC deadlines etc. and ensure that deadlines are met.
- General administrative duties as required.
About the candidate
SPV accounting experience would be extremely beneficial although you do not need to be a fully a qualified accountant.
