Finance Project Controller

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Finance project controller to be based in Birmingham. This role will see you join a fantastic project led business and main duties will include:

• Supporting both finance and non finance stakeholders in their commercial decision making
• Supporting both finance and non finance stakeholders with meaningful management information
• Setup and implementation of finance processes with each new project
• Accurate analysis of project budgets
• Production of project forecasts
• Ensure billing and revenue is kept accurate and up to date
• Analysis of WIP
• Attend and organise finance led project meetings

This role is a very commercial role that supports a range of internal and external stakeholders. In a nutshell, this role will ensure and contribute towards a projects commercial viability, tracking both where it is against budget and spotting future pitfalls. Due to its project nature, this role will suit someone who is keen to secure a role with a varied workload and would like something more than the usual predictable month end. This role would suit a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified candidate, although QBEs with a strong project background may be considered.
