Accountant

Your Job 

We have registered a great opportunity for an Accounts Team Leader to join a leading, family-run chartered accountancy in central Oxford. You will be responsible for preparing and completing accounts for a range of clients on a variety of accounting areas as required by the businesses. Daily responsibilities include: 

- Preparing client accounts 
- Securing client data in accordance with current legislation 
- Working closely with the Client Relationship Manager 
- Supervising and training junior staff 
- Processing expenses 


Job Requirements 

To be successful in this role you will be ACCA qualified or qualified by experience. The ideal candidate will preferably have practice experience but must have demonstrable experience working with a range of accounts / clients. Team work, excellent communication and IT skills, in particular Excel, are essential along with strong client service ethos. You will be accurate, able to keep calm under pressure and meet the tight deadlines. Time management and the ability to multi-task is essential as you will be handling a variety of client portfolios. It is essential that you have access to a vehicle and are able to travel to clients.
