Financial Accountant

Hudson James Human Capital Group has been appointed to recruit a Financial Accountant for a market leading organisation based in Leeds. This opportunity will excite a recently qualified Accountant who wants to join a progressive organisation during an ambitious period of change.

My Client is seeking a candidate with a ‘can-do’ approach to work within a vibrant core finance team in which development prospects are very real.

As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• The provision of accurate and timely management information, embracing all aspects of the business.
• Improving overall financial control and processes within finance function.
• Specific responsibility for the stock reporting system and interface with finance systems, including:

- Ownership of stock system data and production of detailed stock analysis

- Stock reconciliations and investigation of differences

- GRNI calculations

• To support the Financial Controller in regular cashflow forecasting and monitoring activities.

You must be a Qualified Accountant with strong understanding of Financial Accounting, strong Excel skills and comfortable with handling, manipulating and interpreting large volumes of data.
