Finance Manager

Robertson Bell Finance are looking for an experienced Finance Manager for an arts charity based in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an upcoming and growing charity to work across various events and projects.

Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Manager is a crucial role within the organisation to lead the finance function by working toward their financial business plan and improvement on policies and performance. Managing a small team, this is an influential role working with senior directors and the board of trustees to provide advice on financial strategy, maintain control over financial matters, produce annual and monthly management and financial accounts and work towards the budgeting and forecasting processes. As part of a small team, this is a hands-on role with the opportunity to provide input into how the organisation moves forward in future and be involved in the various projects and events the charity organises.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in working as a finance lead. A specific interest in the arts/charity is beneficial as well as knowledge of charity SORP but this is by no means essential. They will be a confident leader, excellent communicator and a proactive member of a team. This opportunity is fantastic as the Finance Manager is very much involved in how the charity will be shaped over the coming years.
