Systems Accountant

Robertson Bell Finance are currently working alongside a leading, commercially focused Not For Profit Group based in central London who have an exciting opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Systems Accountant to join them during a business wide, transformation project. The role, embedded in finance and becoming the crucial link between Finance and IT presents an opportunity to make instrumental changes directly effecting the functionality of the finance systems.

Responsibilities include;
* Building and maintaining relationships across the organisation, acting as the expert on any system queries
* Maintain the interfaces and links with the system, ensuring a maximized output
* Working closely with the finance team as well as the IT side to manage and support upgrades and implementations
* Provide in depth training on systems to all users across the organisation on a regular basis
* Lead on a progressive forthcoming, financial processing improvement project
In short, this role is very much a business facing role and will lead on maintaining and improving the Finance Systems.

You must be working for a successful organisation in a role that has allowed you to pick up the requisite amount of experience needed to enable you to succeed in this Systems Accountant role. The ideal candidate will have started their career in finance before moving into systems and will have the necessary technical systems experience needed to succeed in this role. The successful candidate will be ideally full CCAB qualified, however qualified by experience or part qualified candidates will still be considered if you have extensive Systems experience. This role requires strong liaison with both finance and ICT professionals, consequently exceptional communication skills is essential. Please note that one of the key points of this opportunity, unlike some others, is that the work-life balance is very strong and you will not be required to work more than the standard amount of hours on regular basis.
