Tax Manager

Cambridge, United Kingdom - Our client, is a highly successful, US-listed business, which is seeking to recruit a Tax Manager.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Tax Manager will be responsible for all UK tax affairs and liaise with external tax advisors on tax planning, auditing and advisory work. In addition, the tax manager will be responsible for other areas of tax, such as VAT and employment taxes.

The Tax Manager will own the compliance for the Group's corporation tax and be responsible for the preparation of the Group's R&D tax claim. The role will also involve working closely with the Group Financial Controller and wider finance group on tax project work and to review and advise on changes in legislation and the effects it will have on the Group.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Tax professional (ACA/ACCA/ICAS/CTA) with significant experience in UK corporation tax and strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley tax controls. Interested candidates will have progressive tax compliance experience in a public accounting firm and/or private industry tax compliance department.
