Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Financial Accountant for a leading AIM listed technology business based in South London.
This Financial Accountant position is responsible for; monthly management accounts (including income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries); monthly balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations; budgeting & forecasting; preparing for the annual audit; preparation of statutory accounts; corporation tax returns; managing and training a small team; assisting with the implementation of a new finance system.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong background in technical accounting (UK GAAP & IFRS). It is essential that the successful candidate is prepared to be hands on working closely with the team and be prepared to post journals etc. This is very much a ‘doing’ role rather than just purely ‘reviewing’.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a strong management team who are backed by private equity and who are looking to grow rapidly both organically and through acquisitions. There will be plenty of opportunity for progression within the team for a strong candidate.
This role is paying £48K plus pension and benefits and is based in Bromley though there will be frequent trips to the office in Croydon.
