We are working alongside an exclusive client who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller for their site near Blackburn. The business is well established within its market and has gone from strength to strength over the past few years, they are a stable operation and need someone who can manage all levels of personnel and be the ‘go to’ person on site for operational, strategic and financial decisions.

The role will include: -

  • Produce meaningful reports across the business for capital expenditure, cash flow analysis and monitor the working capital
  • Manage the timely and accurate reporting of the monthly and yearly accounts to the Board
  • Fully responsible for the P&L and balance sheet reporting and associated KPI’s
  • Support communication across the business in order control budgets and overhead spends
  • Main point of contact for the auditors, HMRC and other external parties
  • Manage the existing finance team and support their growth as the business develops
  • Oversee investment purchases, HR and IT on site

The successful candidate will be experienced in the following: -

  • Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience of managing a team
  • Ideally experience of wholesale/distribution would be advantageous
  • Experience of working alongside the stakeholders, managing operations and possibly dealing direct with customers

You will the main person on site for financial and strategic decisions and work closely with the business owners who are looking for a good alround number one.
