Badenoch & Clark are currently recruiting for the position of Interim Accountant within an ever-expanding company on a 3 month contract with the possibility of an extension. You will be required to assist with the Senior Accounting Officer rules project and as such it is desirable that you have relevant experience in the mapping of processes across all SAO taxes. Accountabilities
*Assisting review of the controls in place and how these can be improved
*Liaising with other areas of the business such as HR, Fleet to ensure all aspects of Tax compliance is captured
*Setting up processes to monitor and review controls in the future to ensure they are adequate & compliance exists
Experience
* Good understanding of Tax control/processes is required (possibly within an existing SAO structure)
*Good knowledge of VAT & Employer Taxes
Skills
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
*Organised & structured approach required
*Good documentation skills,( preferably with VISIO experience)
