Based in Bourne, my client is a successful Design and Creative business that are achieving consistent growth within the company and are now looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to help continue that growth.

If you are someone who has an excellent range of accounts payable experience and has worked on reconciliations for the majority of their finance career, than this is the right job for you.

Client Details

My Spalding based client has been in the Design and Creative industry for a number of years now. They currently have over 800 employees in their establishment with this number constantly on the rise.

They specialise in the global production and manufacturing of home products. In turn, they successfully supply their products to a number of high street retailers, with the view of increasing their client list. They have the vision of becoming the top leader in their industry and become the number one 'Go To' company for their customers.

Description

A number of the key duties involved in the Accounts Payable Assistant role include:

  • Inputting, matching, batching and coding invoices

  • Prepare and process payment runs

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Maintenance of Intrastat report

  • Deal with queries quickly and efficiently

  • Process expenses

  • Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Manager, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood

Profile

The key attributes needed in the Accounts Payable Assistant role include:

  • Excel skills at an intermediate level to advanced level (IDEAL)

  • Have extensive knowledge of accounts payable knowledge and the duties involved.

  • Experience of working in a finance team.

  • The ability to develop quickly and understand the company's systems and procedures.

  • Showing enthusiasm and motivation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong numeracy skills.

  • Ability to deliver results and meet company expectations.
