Our client, a market leading, household retail brand are looking to source a bright and highly ambitious finance manager to join their ever-growing financial planning team. This highly visible role reports directly into Head of FP+A whilst supporting senior management in making key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the management and development of two junior analysts
-Providing support to senior management and their direct reports for key strategic decisions in the team
-Ensure robustness of the P&L across all areas including income, margin reporting, shrinkage and store costs
-Identification of new services and business streams
-Participate in the board meeting with the senior management and his direct reports and ensure analysis and reporting is robust and presented with insight
-Co-ordinate the Budgeting and Forecast for the P&L
-Provision of insightful and reliable reporting, also looking to develop and change reports to fit the business needs

What we are looking for:
-Strong academic background with good A-level results and a 2:1 degree or above
-ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2 years PQE
-Experience within the retail industry
-Experience of managing a small team
-Very strong analytical and reporting skills working with large datasets and have a strategical mind set
-Strong Excel modelling skills
-Presentation skills and confidence in building relationships to business partner across the company and with senior management
