Leading global consultancy is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join their Central London based Finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller in a Finance team of 12 duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly group financial dashboard report
- Preparation and analysing the quarterly group market sector report
- Preparing, analysing and reviewing other periodic analytical reports, covering financial and operational areas such as work winning, utilisation, and project margins
- Completion of key inputs required for monthly finance presentations
- Providing day-to-day analytical support to the business to achieve corporate goals and objectives
- Continuous improvement in relation to reporting tools within Finance and out to the business
- Preparation and analysis of the group consolidated position during the annual business planning cycle and quarterly divisional financial re-forecasting process
- Supporting the divisions and corporate teams during the preparation of the annual budgets
- Calculation of corporate overhead allocation, and providing insight to the allocation metrics, and effect on tax positions
- Providing data required for bids
- Calculation of employee GBR's (group break-even rates)
- Consolidation and review of the monthly group management accounts
- Attending monthly budget meetings with corporate heads
- Supporting the annual insurance renewal programme and providing financial and business inputs as necessary
- Supporting the annual UK corporation tax submission
Requirements:
- Nearly or recently qualified CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical experience
- Experience of budgeting and forecasting
- Experience of commercial decision support / business partnering with non-finance managers
- Multi-site and / or multi-entity company experience
- Advanced MS Excel, ideally with experience of macros and financial and business modelling
- The ideal candidate will have experience of Agresso, although this is not essential
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
