Interim Business Controller

This sizeable and high profile, market leading Media business operates across multiple international territories, delivering quality content via cutting edge platforms. With the launch of new products, ongoing M&A activity, net profits up and strong cash flow and balance sheet in place, the business is strategically positioned for continued success. A truly international business operating across multiple territories and vertical markets, the Group has a clear strategic vision and exciting growth plans.

The company is now looking to strengthen its European management team by recruiting a change orientated Business Controller. In this business critical position, you will:

• As a strong and trusted business partner to Country MD's and Operational Directors and with interaction with local FD's, take an active role in the leadership and management of the region, supporting and challenging commercial and operational decision-making

• Own the planning process, budget and rolling forecast, deliver insightful financial and commercial analysis and play a key role in guiding the overall strategic growth of the region

• Lead a finance team, developing individuals to improved performance levels and enabling succession plans across the function.

• Represent the region internally and externally working collaboratively with other business units and functions to promote the achievement of company and corporate objectives.

As an impressively well rounded, emotionally intelligent and tenacious senior finance professional, you will demonstrate first class communications skills and high levels of intellectual horsepower. With in-depth experience of providing decision support within the Broadcasting sector, ideally across international territories, you will have a structured approach, an innate ability to prioritise and will be comfortable getting in to the detail of the business.
