Assistant Management Accountant

An exciting prospect to join a fast paced internationally recognised organisation that provides a worldwide service. The company requires a CIMA/ACCA studying assistant management accountant to join their forward thinking financial team in their Leeds office.

As an assistant management accountant you will be working closely with the commercial manager to assist with the production and analysis of financial mapping and tracking. In addition, you will be involved with the sales and margin forecasting and also reviewing quotations. You will also be responsible for collating accounts information across various departments reporting on any issues; specifically relating to month and year end. The opportunity will allow an ambitious assistant management accountant to become involved in project launch meetings, hold and attend meetings with project teams and challenge project managers on the story behind the numbers.

Ideally you will be studying towards your CIMA/ACCA qualification and be able to demonstrate previous experience within an accounts production role. A good understanding of both account activities and key financial measurable would also be desirable as would previous experience of pricing analysis.
