A Financial Controller Job based in South Sheffield paying £60,000 in a fast-growing company in Sheffield.

Your new company
A leading organisation in their field, this business is set to grow considerably over the next twelve months. You will have the opportunity to be a significant part of a finance team who consistently work to a high standard, but are looking for areas that can be improved to take them to the next level. The company has grown significantly over the past two years, and as such require a competent and qualified Financial Controller.

Your new role
You will be tasked with analysing and evaluating the policies and procedures of the finance team in a bid to make recommendations and establish new processes moving forwards. You will be working closely with the Finance Director to then implement change and measure improvement.
The primary purpose of the role involves stakeholder management, budgeting, forecasting and monitoring current spend, identifying savings, risks and efficiencies and ensuring management information and reports are delivered to time.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong experience in financial processing, design and implementation in previous roles. You will be an outstanding communicator with an ability to identify opportunities for improvement and an ability to implement change, whilst explaining your reasoning to individuals at all levels of the business. Working knowledge of Navision is desired but not essential whilst Professional Qualification is a must. This can be either CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, with a true focus on personality and team fit into this dynamic and driven environment. Substantial PQE is required alongside experience of managing a team in a similar growing SME environment.
