The SF Group is currently recruiting for a well established business based in Derby. This business is rapidly growing and therefore has the need for an extra head in their finance team.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of the monthly overhead management accounts
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly schedule
- Prepare and enter monthly journals
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Be responsible for all VAT accounting/regulations
- Understand and utilise the companies Cash flow position through day to day analysis and reports
- Prepare Intercompany recharges
- Assist senior Finance staff with Preparation of company's statutory accounts including all aspects of tax/directors remuneration.
- Provide support to senior Finance staff during annual budget cycle and reforecasting
Experience:
- Part-qualified accountant
- Efficient, effective and highly organised professional
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
You will have strong finance background and be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified and actively studying. You must be able to demonstrate working to tight deadlines in a busy and challenging role and able to communicate well with both finance and non finance staff.
